The National Symphony Orchestra, a massive community chorus, and Wolf Trap Opera alumni come together for Orff’s epic Carmina Burana. Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho, winner of the 2015 Chopin Competition, opens the program with Beethoven’s magnificent “Emperor” concerto.

A free Pre-Performance Discussion is offered this evening on the Terrace Deck with Scott Tucker, Choral Arts. These discussions offer insight and interpretation of the evening's performance. They begin 1 hour before the scheduled show time and end with plenty of time to reach your seat before the show starts.
